Are books a must-have in your home?

Yes? I mean, technically no… I’m sure I could could live without them if it were a life or death thing, but since both me and my sister are avid readers, it’d take something pretty drastic to find ourselves in a home without any books.
I’ve scaled way back on how many books I own, now I only own a few of my absolute favorites from indie authors in print and a couple of books I was sent from some of the publishers I occasionally review for. (I had a few hundred about five years ago, now I personally have only about ten or so in print currently.) So, it’s a modest collection, but books definitely make it feel more like a lived-in home.
Books Less Travelled 
Yes, they were growing up, they were while my kids grew up and they definitely are now. I am amazed that some people don’t read or have books in their homes.
