It’s Monday! What are you Reading is a weekly meme hosted by Kathryn from Book Date, a place to share and discuss what we’ve read in the past week and what we’re in the middle of or are planning to read this week.
It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? a place to meet up and share what you have been, and are about to be reading over the week. It’s a great post to organize yourself. It’s an opportunity to visit and comment and er… add to your groaning TBR pile! So welcome in everyone. This meme started on J Kaye’s blog and then was hosted by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn at The Book Date.Jen Vincent, Teach Mentor Texts, and Kellee of Unleashing Readers decided to give It’s Monday! a kidlit focus. If you read and review books in children’s literature – picture books, chapter books, middle grade novels, young adult novels or anything in those genres – join them.
Good morning, everyone!
Here’s to another week of extraordinary reads and hidden literary gems! This week, I’m reading…
I had a lovely weekend, and an equally enjoyable week last week, but was busy a couple of days and didn’t get quite as much reading done as I’d expected too. Still, I did finish Eubeltic Descent and Midnight Blue (both of which I loved!) and made good progress of my other reads.
Find them below:
What I read last week:

Currently Reading:
Trust Me by Kelly Irvin –

I’m currently trying to finish this one. It’s been exciting so far, but I’m also ready to figure out at last who-dun-it and mark it off my list. It’s a thrilling read, so I’ve no doubt I’ll enjoy the remainder ride as it wraps up!

The Black Crow Flies by LB Perdan –

I also really want to finish this one, if only because I feel bad for missing the release date. I’m loving the story, and will fully shift my focus to The Black Crow Flies (that phrase! It makes so much more sense now! 😅) once I get through Trust Me.
To Be Published: January 10th, 2023
Mojave Rift by J.W. Gilbert –

I’m also working though this one. With the deadline for the review of the sequel quickly approaching, I have to pick up the pace a bit, but the story is interesting so far and I’m curious to know what happens!

Upcoming Reads:
Maddie Jo by Jodi Bayse –

With each passing day, my excitement to start this one soon increases! I loved meeting Maddie Jo & Colt in Brant’s book, so I can’t wait to read their story!

Yella’s Prayers by Nadine C. Keels –

Since I’m slowly working through Ms. Nadine’s backlist, here’s another on my list! I’m excited to read more of her books, and this one intrigues me.

Mojave Man (ArcPoint #2) by J W Gilbert –

Deadline approaching, so I might end up just taking a day to read through this one if I don’t get to it soon…
